Meet Angelina
Hi there! It’s so nice to meet you.

As the “mom” of my circles since childhood, I’ve always felt a deep sense of responsibility to create a space where everyone feels supported, no matter where they are in life or the choices they make. I believe in offering love, compassion, and understanding, standing beside them with an open heart and a willingness to listen. Whether it’s advice, encouragement, or simply being a safe person to turn to, I want those around me to feel empowered to trust their own path. I know life isn’t one-size-fits-all, and my role is to help others feel strong in their choices, whatever they may be.
Before becoming a doula, I’ve had the privilege and honor of being part of others’ peak life experiences that deeply shaped who I am today. I worked with animals as a vet tech, where I developed a deep sense of empathy, patience, and care. This experience taught me how to support and comfort others during vulnerable moments, a skill that has naturally translated into birth work. I’m certified in equine sports massage, which I integrate into my birth massage techniques, bringing a unique blend of skills that help ease tension and promote relaxation during labor. I also worked as a floral wedding and events coordinator where I created beautiful, memorable moments for people, understanding the significance of creating environments where people feel safe and celebrated. These experiences—each a unique chapter—taught me how to hold space for others, provide emotional support, and guide people through life’s most significant transitions. They laid the foundation for my work as a doula, where I continue to honor and support individuals through one of the most transformative experiences of their lives—birth. Every part of my journey has contributed to my passion for supporting others with compassion, respect, and an open heart.
Growing up in the SF Bay Area, diversity and acceptance were not just values, but the foundation of my world. From an early age, I was surrounded by a melting pot of cultures, perspectives, and identities, and that has shaped the way I see the world. I learned to embrace differences, celebrate individuality, and approach life with an open heart and mind. This environment taught me the importance of creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued and accepted, regardless of their background or beliefs. It’s a mindset I carry with me in everything I do, always aiming to support people with a deep understanding of the beauty in our differences.
I met my partner in 2013, and it didn’t take long for me to realize we were meant to be together. We married in 2014, and it was the start of an exciting chapter full of love, growth, and shared dreams. In 2016, we welcomed our first and only child into the world, and he has been the light of our lives ever since. Together, we decided to step away from the usual and embarked on a journey across the US in our RV, immersing ourselves in different cultures and discovering the breathtaking beauty of the world around us. The experience deepened our connection as a family and gave us a profound appreciation for diversity, nature, and the endless learning that comes from exploring new places. It was a chapter of growth, laughter, and unforgettable memories that continues to shape how we live and love today. Every day is a reminder of the importance of family, connection, and creating a nurturing environment for the next generation.
After years of exploring the diverse landscapes of the United States, we finally settled in the PNW, drawn to its blend of rugged coastlines, misty forests, and vibrant cities. It was here, in the lush, evergreen beauty that I found a place to truly call home. The PNW has become the perfect backdrop for both personal and professional growth, offering a sense of connection and purpose.
When I’m not doulaing, you’ll often find me in the barn, surrounded by horses and the calming embrace of nature. There’s something about the connection with the horses that grounds me, offering a sense of peace and clarity that I can’t find anywhere else. Whether I’m riding, caring for them, or simply being in their presence, the barn is where I reconnect with myself and the natural world around me. It’s my sanctuary—a place where I recharge, reflect, and find balance, so I can bring my best self to everything I do, including supporting families during birth.
Fun facts about Angelina
My favorite way to unwind
My favorite ways to unwind are journaling, listening to worship, writing, hiking, baking, painting, and horseback riding. Each of these activities helps me reconnect with myself and find peace in different ways.
What is my favorite season?
My favorite season is definitely spring. The days get longer, and the flowers bloom, filling the air with color and life. It’s also when the horse blankets come off and the sun shines longer, bringing a sense of renewal and warmth. There’s something special about the shift from the chill of winter to the vibrancy of spring that always lifts my spirits.
A random fact about me
A random fact about me is that I LOVE concerts and live music! There’s just something about the energy of the crowd, the raw emotion from the artists, and the thrill of experiencing music in its purest form that makes it one of my favorite activities. Every concert feels like a unique experience, and I’m always excited to discover new artists or see my favorites perform live!
How I got into birth work
My path into birth work is deeply personal and rooted in my own experiences, as well as a lifelong desire to help others through some of life’s most profound moments. Growing up, I often found myself stepping into supportive roles for friends and family during their tough times. Whether it was offering a listening ear, giving advice, or just being there for someone who needed comfort, I realized early on how important it was to feel supported and understood, especially during pivotal transitions in life.
My own birth story played a huge part in why I’m so passionate about birth work. I felt unheard during my own birth experience, and I carry that feeling with me. I know how it feels to be in a vulnerable, life-changing moment and not have your needs or feelings acknowledged. That sense of powerlessness became a driving force for me to ensure that others don’t have to feel the same way. I wanted to be the person who offers support, advocacy, and empathy for those going through birth, so they can feel empowered, heard, and cared for.
When I discovered the role of a doula, I knew it was the perfect way to combine my passion for helping others with my personal experience. Birth work isn’t just about supporting someone through labor—it’s about giving them the space and the voice to express their needs, fears, and hopes, so they feel truly seen. I’ve made it my mission to be the kind of support that I wish I had during my own birth story, creating a safe, trusting space where everyone can feel heard and supported.
Best decision I’ve ever made
The best decision I’ve ever made was to travel the US in an RV with my family. It was an adventure that brought us closer together and allowed us to experience the beauty and diversity of our country in a way we never could have imagined. From the open road to discovering new places, every moment was unforgettable. It was a life-changing journey that taught me so much about the importance of family, exploration, and embracing the unexpected.
Favorite part of the birth process
My favorite part of the birth process is witnessing the moment a person becomes a parent. That first moment when they meet their baby is pure magic—it’s full of raw emotion, joy, and relief. The look on their face when they hold their newborn for the first time, knowing that all the hard work, strength, and determination led to this beautiful new beginning, is something I will never get tired of witnessing.
I love being able to support my clients in that moment, helping them feel confident, empowered, and deeply connected to their baby. Whether it’s encouraging them through the final push, guiding them with breathwork, or just being a calm, reassuring presence, knowing that I’ve played a role in making that moment special is incredibly fulfilling for me.
A skill id love to learn
One skill I’d love to learn is becoming bilingual, specifically in Spanish. Spanish is such a beautiful, widely spoken language, and I feel it would open up so many doors for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. I believe learning Spanish would greatly enrich my life. I’m excited about the challenge of learning a new language and the opportunity to explore different cultures in a deeper way. It’s something I’m committed to dedicating time to, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me!
My goals in this field
My goal in the field of birth work is to become an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). The biology of lactation absolutely amazes me, and I’m fascinated by how the body is designed to nourish and bond with a newborn. Becoming an IBCLC will allow me to deepen my knowledge and provide expert, evidence-based support to new parents as they navigate their breastfeeding journey. I’m eager to learn more about the intricacies of lactation, and I’m passionate about helping families overcome any challenges they may face.
My guilty pleasure
My guilty pleasure is baking! There’s something so comforting about getting into the kitchen, mixing ingredients, and creating delicious treats. Whether it’s cookies, macarons, or cupcakes, I love experimenting with new recipes (and of course, tasting as I go!). It’s my way of winding down and treating myself while spreading a little sweetness to others.
What’s the most important lesson I’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to trust the process. Life has its ups and downs, and while it’s easy to want everything to go according to plan, embracing the unexpected and staying open to new experiences has always led to personal growth and unexpected rewards.
